How we collect, use and protect your personal information when you shop with Believers On Deen.
Last updated: 7 September 2026
Believers On Deen ("we", "us", "our") operates believersondeen.com and sells apparel to customers in Australia and internationally. We handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). This policy sets out what we collect, why we collect it, who we disclose it to, and the choices available to you.
We collect the following categories of personal information:
We do not store your IP address in our own analytics records. Location is recorded only at the level of country, region and city, and is derived by our hosting provider rather than taken from your device.
We operate first-party analytics on our own infrastructure, recording the usage data described above against a randomly generated browser identifier.
We also use PostHog for product analytics and session recording. Session recording captures how a page was used, including mouse movement, scrolling and clicks, so that we can identify where the site is confusing or broken. All text you type into form fields is masked before the recording leaves your browser, so we do not receive the contents of what you enter. PostHog processes this data on servers located in the United States.
We use the Meta Pixel and Meta's Conversions API to measure advertising. Where you complete a purchase, we send Meta a one-way cryptographic hash (SHA-256) of your email address, together with the order value and the identifiers Meta itself sets in your browser. The hash allows Meta to match the purchase to an advertisement without us disclosing your email address in a readable form.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It does not set cookies and does not fingerprint your device or track you across other websites.
Videos from creators shown on our home page are hosted by us and played by your browser directly. Nothing is loaded from Instagram or Meta in order to watch them, and they set no cookies. The links beside them open Instagram in a new tab, at which point Instagram's own privacy policy applies.
We use cookies and similar browser storage for functions necessary to operate the site, such as keeping your cart and remembering your privacy choice, and for the analytics and advertising purposes described above.
If you are in the European Union, the EEA, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, no analytics or advertising technologies load until you accept them. Elsewhere they operate by default and you may switch them off at any time. Your choice is stored on the device you made it on. You can review or change it here: Cookie settings. You may also block cookies through your browser, though parts of the site may not function.
We do not sell personal information. We disclose it to the following service providers, to the extent each requires it to perform its function:
We may also disclose personal information where required by law, or where necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.
Several of these providers store data outside Australia, including in the United States and the European Union. In disclosing personal information overseas we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled consistently with the APPs, and we remain accountable to you under Australian law for that information.
The site is served exclusively over HTTPS. Access to order and customer records is restricted to authorised personnel, is authenticated, and every administrative change is recorded in an audit log. No online service can guarantee absolute security, and we do not claim otherwise.
We retain order records for as long as required to meet our legal, accounting and tax obligations. Analytics records are retained for as long as they remain useful for the purposes described above. Where you ask us to delete your information and we are not required to keep it, we will delete it.
You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, or ask us to delete it. You may withdraw consent to analytics and advertising at any time through Cookie settings, and unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in any marketing message.
To make a request, email support@believersondeen.com. We will respond within a reasonable period and will not charge you for making a request. If you are dissatisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
The site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy. The current version is the one published on this page, and the date it took effect appears above.
